Vax doesn't prevent spread of, or catching Covid-19, Do NOT mandate it.

Do NOT mandate Covid-19 vaccines for teachers, students, or anybody in Virginia.  No medical therapy should be mandated; all medical interventions are a choice for the individual and their doctor.  Especially, when the therapy--the vaccine--is new, without normal safety testing, and does NOT provide sterilizing immunity.  Vaccinated people can still catch and transmit the virus and have the same viral loads as the unvaccinated.  So, the unvaccinated people in schools pose no risk as the petitioner claims.  In fact, the vaccinated may pose greater risk because they pressure the virus to mutate (hence, Delta).  Many teachers and students have natural immunity and would face only risk, no reward, from taking it.  Many teachers and students have cross-reactive immunity from previous exposure to related viruses.  Adverse reactions have been piling up within VAERS and many have gone unreported.  Covid-19 isn't smallpox--a human-only virus that could be eradicated.  Covid-19 has an animal reservoir and is a seasonal virus like the flu or cold that will never be eradicated.  The petitioner is operating under a false sense of security that these vaccines are a "cure-all."  At most, they lessen severity of illness; at least, they make the illness worse via Antibody Dependent Enhancement (ADE).  The vaccines make the body produce the spike protein which in and of itself is a toxin, and the part of the virus that causes so much trouble throughout the entire body.  No long-term safety studies exist.  It would be illegal and unethical to mandate it.  Do not mandate the vaccine.  It will not make the school environment safer.
