I will be in the minority judging from the comments I see, but I am in support of the vaccine. I do feel people should be able to decline this however and be offered other options. One of those options being social distancing which many view as segregation. I feel that you are making a choice between distancing or vaccination. We do not always like the choices we are given, but there is one. Other choices are always available like homeschooling which is a wonderful option if you are able to do so. Too many people are viewing this as governmental control instead of looking out for themselves and their community. Those of us that have lost friends and loved ones do not want others to have to deal with that same pain. The flu shot is required in hospitals for this same reason, to help. It will not 100% fix the situation but it will save lives. Those that choose not to vaccinate can social distance away from others as an alternative and everyone can move on.
