| Action Summary |
On March 14, 2024, the State Executive Council for Children’s Services (SEC) approved revisions to Policy 4.2 Payment for Services and Change of Legal Residence for implementation effective July 1, 2024, and the Virginia Department of Education (“VDOE”) is proposing revisions to the Regulations Governing Special Education Programs for Children with Disabilities in Virginia (8VAC20-81) to align these changes across state agencies and regulations. The action is also correcting references to the “Comprehensive Services Act,” which is now called the “Children’s Services Act.” |
