Action Summary The 2020 Session of the General Assembly passed House Bill 597, which created new statutory licensing requirements. Specifically, the bill created new requirements for initial applications for providers of services licensed by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) requiring a statement of certain information including previous negative actions.
