This action includes changes for group homes and residential treatment facilities for individuals under the age of 21. The action includes changes to the following areas: (i) provider qualifications including acceptable licensing standards; (ii) pre-admission assessment requirements, (iii) program requirements, (iv) new discharge planning and care coordination requirements and; (iv) language enhancements for utilization review requirements to clarify program requirements and help providers avoid payment retractions. |
