| Action Summary |
The proposed amendments establish inactive licensure for acupuncturists pursuant to the specific authority granted in the Code of Virginia by Chapter 469 of the 1998 Acts of the Assembly. The amended regulations set forth the qualifications, fees and requirements for reactivation of an inactive license or reinstatement of a lapse license which include continuing competency as evidenced by recertification by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. |
