GUIDELINES FOR THE PROCUREMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES (REPEALED)

Description: The regulation specifies the steps involved in soliciting interest from bidders, evaluating proposals, making decisions to negotiate or award contracts, securing approvals, and monitoring performance and financial data. It undergoes periodic review and revision to ensure that consultant selection is consistent with sound business practices and pertinent agency policies and procedures. The revisions to the regulation deal with guidelines to Virginia Department of Transportation staff in using consultant performance reports in the selection.
