Gardy's Mill Solar, LLC has provided the Department of Environmental Quality with a notice of intent to submit the necessary documentation for a permit by rule for a small renewable energy project (solar).  The proposed project will be located in Westmoreland County along Gardy's Mill Road near Gray's Corner.  The project will have a maximum generating capacity of 11 megawatts alternating current (AC) across roughly 197 acres on multiple parcels and will connect to the grid through distribution power lines that run along Gardy's Mill road.
