Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 28.2-1302 and Chapter 14 28.2-1400 of the Code of Virginia, that the Northumberland County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing in the Sheriff’s Office at 195 Judicial Place in Heathsville, Virginia, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, commencing at 5:00 P.M., to consider the following application for wetland and/or coastal primary sand dune and beach permits:

1. Request by William M. & Janet M. Antonelli (V.M.R.C. #26-2039) to install 74 linear feet of riprap revetment and repair 160 linear feet of existing riprap revetment along the shoreline of Little Kilneck Creek and 3096 Lake Road
2. Request by William Busico (V.M.R.C. #26-1933) to install 100 linear feet of riprap revetment and install 25 linear feet of riprap sill along the shoreline of Hacks Creek and Tax Map Parcel # 20-(6)-7 on Wildlife Lane.
3. Request by Margaret Jackson (V.M.R.C. #26-1461) to construct 50 linear feet of bulkhead along the shoreline of Fleets Cove and Tax Map Parcel # 18-(1)-77-B on Stoney Road.
4. Request by Robins & Strickler Properties & John F. & Cathy Robins (V.M.R.C. #26-1929) to repair 475 liner feet of existing riprap revetment, install 25 linear feet of riprap revetment and install 90 linear feet of riprap sill along the shoreline of the Yeocomico River 438 & 477 River Breeze Point Lane.
5. Request by James & Cecily Teichert (V.M.R.C. #26-2041) to install 82 linear feet of armor stone revetment, install 80’ & 56’ armor stone sills and an 18’ low-profile riprap groin along the shoreline of Hull Creek and 302 Spinnaker Lane.

Interested members of the public will be able to participate in the meeting physically and through electronic means (telephonic).
