Dear Interested Party/Governmental Agency:
Please be advised that the following permit request has been filed with the Surry County Wetlands Board. The application will be considered at a public hearing to be held on Tuesday, May 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the Surry County Government Center at 45 School St, Surry, VA 23883.
Joint Permit Application No. 2025-2641 by Corblu Ecology Group, LLC, to consider a request to encroach upon tidal wetlands and State-owned Stream Bottoms along the James River. The proposed project consists of required maintenance to an existing 16-inch-diameter underground pipeline. The pipeline, Line 27, is owned and operated by Colonial Pipeline Company (CPC).
Pipeline maintenance activity in Surry County would occur in the vicinity of Hog Island Road and at Tax Map 31-lB.
