Notice is hereby given that the Northampton County Wetlands Board will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, to consider and to hear public comments on two applications.
The meeting will begin at 8:00 AM with site visits to the affected properties, in the order in which the cases are listed below. The Board will reconvene at or around 10:00 AM that same morning in Board Chambers in the County Administration Building at 16404 Courthouse Road, Eastville, Virginia, for the purpose of conducting public hearings.

VMRC 2025-0889: Sun Sunset Beach RV, LLC (property owner) and BIC Inc.
(applicant) are applying for a permit to construct a commercial walkway with
handrails for beach access along an existing path. The project site is located
adjacent to 32226 Lankford Highway, Cape Charles, VA, and is further described as Tax Map 117-A-24, along the shoreline of Chesapeake Bay.
VMRC 2025-1386: Bradley Gray is applying for a permit to replace an existing bulkhead with a rip rap revetment consisting of Class Ill and Type I Rip Rap. The property is located at 3242 Butlers Bluff Drive, Cape Charles, VA, and is further described as Tax Map 112F-1-5 along the shoreline of Chesapeake Bay.

The application files may be viewed in the Planning, Permitting, and Enforcement Office in the County Administration Building, Monday through Friday, between the hours of
9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
