Notice of Public Hearing Corrected Date

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 28.2-1302 and Chapter 14 28.2-1400 of the Code of Virginia, that the N01thumberland County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing in the Sheriffs Office at 195 Judicial Place in Heathsville, Virginia, on ffuesday, August 12, 2025, commencing at 5:00 P.M., to consider the
following application for wetland and/or coastal primary sand dune and beach permits:

1. Request by Mark Allen (V.M.R.C.#25-1600) for an after-the-fact permit to repair 141
   linear feet of existing failing riprap revetment channelward of a failing bulkhead and
   construct a 25' x 28' beach access along the shoreline of Kingscote Creek and 172 Old Barn Lane.
   2. Request by Linda A. Messick Trustee (V.M.R.C.#25-1436) to construct a replacement bulkhead channelward of an existing failing bulkhead along the shoreline of Bridge
   Creek and 504 Oyster Point Drive.
   3. Request by John Pitts Contractors, LLC (V.M.R.C. #25-1545) to install 170 linear feet of armor stone revetment and remove and replace three (3) 80' low-profile timber groins along the shoreline of the Chesapeake Bay and Tax Map Parcel# 30-(1 )-11 on
   Shipwatch Lane.
   4. Request by Carol Price (V.M.R.C. #25-1377) to construct 315 linear feet of vinyl
   bulkhead channelward of a failing bulkhead and install 46 linear feet of riprap revetment along the shoreline of Indian Creek and 2430 Bluff Point Road.

All written comments should be received by the Building and Zoning office prior to the meeting. Comments must be mailed, faxed to (804) 580-8082 or e-mailed to

participate in the meeting physically and through electronic means (telephonic). The phone
