The Hampton Wetlands Board will conduct a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in
Hampton City Council Chambers, 8th floor, City Hall, 22 Lincoln Street, Hampton, Virginia. The Board
will consider during its regular meeting:
Joint Permit Application 2025-0416: Mallard Point Association, Inc., 144 Eberly Terrace [LRSN:
8001441], a request to install and enhance approximately 35,595 square feet of living shoreline along 718
linear feet of shoreline, including a 5-foot-wide, 562-square-foot gravel kayak launch extending from
upland turf to low marsh vegetation for resident water access. The project aims to strengthen the existing
vegetated wetlands by enhancing both low and high marsh; improve natural habitats, including 3,313
square feet of new oyster habitat; and replace turf grass with native vegetation to establish an upland
riparian buffer.
A site visit meeting to view the above referenced projects will convene on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, 4:00
p.m. at 144 Eberly Ter, Hampton, VA.
