Pursuant to Section 6 of the Accomack County Wetlands Zoning Ordinance, you are hereby notified of a public hearing that will be held in the Accomack County Administration Building Board Chambers, Room #104, 23296 Courthouse Avenue, Accomac, Virginia at 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 5, 2025, for the following applications to be heard:
The Nature Conservancy (Applicant); HLB Holdings, LLC and CKHC, LLC (Owners) - VMRC# 2025-0491
This is a wetlands restoration project, and the portions of the project in the Wetlands Board’s jurisdiction are the outfalls and other areas between mean low water and 1.5 times mean high water. This project is located on Willowdale Drive, Tax Map 120-A-96A and 120-A-98.
Virginia Port Authority and Rocket Lab USA (Applicants); NASA (Owner) - VMRC # 2025-0521 This application is for the dredging of Sloop Gut. The portion of the project within the Wetlands Board’s jurisdiction is where the dredging will remove material between mean low water and mean high water. This project is on Wallops Island, Tax Map 57-A-1.
