The Northampton County Wetlands Board will meet and conduct public hearings on
Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. or shortly thereafter in the Board Chambers located
at 16404 Courthouse Road in Eastville, VA, to consider the following wetlands/coastal primary
sand dunes matters and conduct regular business. Site visits to the properties will be conducted
on the same date, starting at 8:00 a.m.
VMRC 2025-0134: Arlington Plantation Property Owners' Association, Inc. is applying for
a permit to construct 2 docks with L heads on an existing boat ramp. The property is
located on Arlington Chase Road, Cape Charles, VA, and is further described as Tax
Map 97A-A-1A along the shoreline of Old Plantation Creek.
VMRC 2025-0229: Donald & Patricia Stephenson are applying for a permit to repair an
existing bulkhead with a return in the same footprint and reinstall low profile groins. The
property is located at 3222 Butlers Bluff Drive, Cape Charles, VA, and is further
described as Tax Map 112F-1-6 along the shoreline of Chesapeake Bay.
Anyone interested in the above matters should attend the scheduled public hearings. The
applications may be viewed in the Planning, Permitting, and Enforcement Office located at
16404 Courthouse Road in Eastville, VA. Written comments can be submitted to the Planning,
