Pursuant to Chapter 13 of Title 28.2 of the Code of Virginia, you are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held by the Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC) at their meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in the Commission meeting room at 380 Fenwick Road, Building 96, Fort Monroe, to consider an application submitted by Mr. Darrell Roda (VMRC #24-1562) to replace an 11-foot by 35-foot section of an existing concrete boat ramp with two (2) 25-foot long timber retaining walls, install a 52-foot long bulkhead two (2) feet channelward of an existing bulkhead with two (2) 10-foot returns, remove an existing 24-foot section of bulkhead and install a 25-foot section of bulkhead, and construct a 45-foot long low profile timber groin along the Rappahannock River shoreline at 327 Riverdale Road in Essex County.  The project requires a Tidal Wetlands and Subaqueous Permit.  To view the project drawings please open 2024-1562 in the following link: https://webapps.mrc.virginia.gov/public/habitat
