Mathews County Wetlands Board hereby gives notice that on Wednesday, October
2nd, at 7 PM, in the Mathews County Historic Courthouse, 27 Court Street, Mathews VA; the Board will hold public hearings regarding requests for authorization of the following applications:
Thomas E. and Susan Chamberlin, 134 Shore Drive, VMRC #24-17601 TM #40A-1- 46 - Request to install 65 If of riprap revetment channelward of an existing failing bulkhead with an 8' riprap revetment return wall into the uplands along a portion of Horn Harbor shoreline.
Joan W. Close, Trustee & Lydia F. Wetterling, 458 Wetterling Forest Drive, VMRC #24-16061 TM #39-35-5 - Request to install a 173.5 If of a concrete sill, backfilled with sand and planted with wetland vegetation, along a portion of Horn Harbor shoreline.
Gary Goerss, 1970 and 1982 Cricket Hill Road, VMRC #24-17491 TM #11A5-A-1 & 11A5-A-2 - Request to remove concrete slabs along the shoreline and construct a 100 If riprap revetment and a 76 If riprap sill backfilled with sand, planted with wetland vegetation, along a portion of Milford Haven shoreline.
Terri Edwards, 130 Dutchmans Point, VMRC #24-1981, TM #43-A-8B & 10- Request to install a 120 If of armor stone breakwater and two (2) 50 lb armor stone spurs, backfilled with coarse beach sand, planted with wetland vegetation, along a portion of Mobjack Bay shoreline.
Interested parties are invited to attend the meeting.
