LEGAL NOTICE

Mathews County Wetlands Board hereby gives notice that on Wednesday, June 5^th, at 7 PM in the Mathews County Historic Courthouse, 27 Court Street, Mathews, VA; the Board will hold public hearings regarding requests for authorization of the following applications:

Alan Farmer, VMRC #23-2800, 11A5-11-1A– Request to install a 160’ rock sill with appropriate fill and 28’ riprap outfall.  This project takes place along portions of the Milford Haven shoreline.

George Fuller, VMRC #24-0266, 10E-5-B4– Request to install 65’ of riprap against a failing timber bulkhead. This project takes place along portions of the Queens Creek shoreline.

Tiffany Redford, VMRC #24-0531, 24A-1-2-13– Request to install 95’ of marsh toe sill with appropriate fill and plantings.  This project takes place along portions of the North River shoreline.  

Thomas Voekler, VMRC #24-0952, 29-A-148– Request to remove 25’ of an existing boat ramp and replace with two 3’x25’ concrete slabs with filter cloth and gravel base.  This project takes place along portions of the East River shoreline.  

Interested parties are invited to attend the meeting. Applications may be reviewed at the Mathews County Wetlands Board office, located in the County Administration Building, 50 Brickbat Road, Mathews, Virginia, Monday-Friday, and 8:30 am-4:30 pm. or online at https://webapps.mrc.virginia.gov/public/habitat/index.php
