Aura Power Developments (USA) LLC has provided the Department of Environmental Quality a notice of intent to submit the necessary documents for a permit by rule for a small renewable energy project (solar) in Louisa County, pursuant to Virginia Regulation 9VAC15-60. 

Fisher Chewning Solar will be located south of Route 22 approximately 1 mile west of the Town of Mineral. Latitude and longitude coordinates are as follows: 38.009056, -77.941630. The project will have a maximum generating capacity of 150 megawatts alternating current (AC) across approximately 1,365 acres.
