| Purpose of the meeting The Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services (Board) will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services. The Board will hold its annual elections. Staff will request Board approval of a Notice of Intended Regulatory Action to amend 2 VAC 5-320 (Regulations for the Enforcement of the Endangered Plant and Insect Species Act), final exempt action to repeal 2 VAC 5-380 (Rules and Regulations for the Enforcement of the Virginia Dealers in Agricultural Products Law), final stage to amend 2 VAC 5-390 (Rules and Regulations for the Enforcement of the Virginia Seed Law), and proposed exempt action to amend 2 VAC 5-595 (Regulations Governing the Manufacturing and Sale of Products That Contain Industrial Hemp Extracts Intended for Human Consumption). The Board will consider appointments to the Virginia Winery Distribution Company. The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. | |||||||||
