| Purpose of the meeting A special meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Commissioners of Virginia Housing Development Authority (Virginia Housing) will be held commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. In accordance with Virginia Housing’s Policy Governing All-Virtual Public Board Meetings dated October 19, 2022, the meeting will be a non-emergency all-virtual meeting. The format will not be changed unless Virginia Housing provides a new notice that complies with § 2.2-3707 of the Virginia Code (Code). The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss and consider individuals for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), referred to in the Virginia Housing Act as the Executive Director, and to conduct multiple initial interviews for such position. Beginning on January 31, 2024 and continuing for the duration of the interviews, discussion and consideration of candidates for CEO, the Executive Committee will convene in closed session, in accordance with § 2.2-3711.A.1 of the Code. Per § 2.2-3712.B of the Code, prior to such closed session, the Executive Committee will announce in open session that such closed session interviews will be held in an all-virtual format within 15 days thereafter. Following the closed session interviews and discussion and consideration of individuals for the position of CEO, the Executive Committee will reconvene in open session for the purpose of taking a roll call vote regarding the closed session in accordance with § 2.2-3712.D of the Code, consider any further business and adjourn the meeting. This open session of the meeting will be held at the conclusion of the closed session reconvening at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024.
