| Purpose of the meeting As directed by Senate Bill 1210 (2021) the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality has formed a working group to assist the Department in developing recommendations for an annual fee schedule to replace the current annual fee schedule set forth in ยง 10.1-1402.1:1 of the Code of Virginia. The recommended annual fee schedule must be sufficient to reflect the direct costs of the nonhazardous solid waste management program when aggregated and combined with collected permit fees. The purpose of this meeting is to review the information requested at the first meeting and discuss options for generating sufficient revenue to cover the projected direct costs. | |
