| Purpose of the meeting Pursuant to ยง 22.1-361 of the Code of Virginia , Virginia Council on the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children will convene electronically on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at 12 p.m. on the VDOE YouTube Channel. The purpose of this meeting is to transact the business statutorily required or necessary to continue the work of assisting the easing the education transition of the children of military families into school as a result of frequent moves and deployment of their parents. Oral public comment will not be accepted, however, written public comment is always accepted. Written public comment received by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16,2020. Please submit comments to dan.dunham@doe.virginia.gov. Public comment will be shared with Advisory Board Members.
