| Purpose of the meeting The Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services (Board) will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services. Staff will request the Board’s approval of the following regulatory actions: (i) appointment of a regulatory advisory panel for 2 VAC 5-675, Regulations Governing Pesticide Fees Charged By the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services; (ii) fast-track regulatory action to repeal 2 VAC 5-325, Regulations Governing Pine Shoot Beetle; and (iii) notice of intended regulatory action to promulgate 2 VAC 5-105, Regulations Governing the Keeping of Dogs and Cats by Any Pet Shop. Staff will request the Board approve the proposed establishment of the Virginia Produce Safety Civil Penalty Matrix. The Board will also consider a request to direct the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to release certain records required to be held in confidence. The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. | |||||
