Purpose of the meeting
A Department of Environmental Quality public hearing on a draft permit modification for the Disposal and Recycling Services of Lunenburg Sanitary Landfill. RWG5, LLC has applied for a modification to the permit that would allow the piggyback lateral expansion over the southern slope of the unlined hill and Cells 1 and 2, thereby adding Cells 3A, 3B, 4A, and 4B. The public comment period begins on August 26, 2020 and ends on October 21, 2020. The draft permit modification is available online at: https://www.deq.virginia.gov/Programs/LandProtectionRevitalization/PublicNotices.aspx on.
