| Purpose of the meeting An informational briefing convened by the Department of Environmental Quality to provide information to the public on a draft modification of the facility’s Final Permit for the Storage and Treatment of Hazardous Waste in advance of the public comment period on the draft permit modification. DEQ has determined that the modification application is administratively and technically complete and has prepared a draft modification to the facility’s hazardous waste permit. The modification will include the construction and operation of a new incinerator complex that will replace the existing hazardous waste incinerators with modernized systems and upgraded air pollution control equipment. | |
