| Purpose of the meeting A public hearing convened by the Department of Environmental Quality to receive comment on a draft modification of the facility’s Final Permit for the Storage and Treatment of Hazardous Waste. DEQ has determined that the modification application is administratively and technically complete and has prepared a draft modification to the facility’s hazardous waste permit. The modification will include the construction and operation of a new incinerator complex that will replace the existing hazardous waste incinerators with modernized systems and upgraded air pollution control equipment. | |
