| Purpose of the meeting As required by 2VAC5-317-100, the Noxious Weeds Advisory Committee must meet at least once annually to assist the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in the evaluation and risk assessment of plants that may be declared noxious weeds. At the meeting, the committee will discuss the noxious weeds law and regulation, determine to which classification of noxious weeds the nominated plant should be assigned, and discuss the potential delisting of noxious weeds currently on the noxious weeds list. | |||
