Purpose of the meeting
A meeting of a work group established by the Department of Environmental Quality to evaluate issues raised by House Bill 1186 during the 2018 General Assembly Session; specifically to consider developing options for prioritizing human consumptive water use through the groundwater withdrawal permit process. A major focus of the group will be the development of stakeholder positions regarding alterative human consumption proposals and the development of any additional concepts through brainstorming by the group. Garage parking is available for a fee in the Bank of America building, accessible from the East Cary Street entrance to the Bank of America building on the left side of the 1100 block of East Cary Street. Garage parking is also available for a fee in the James Center parking deck accessible from the East Cary Street entrance on the right side of the 1100 block of East Cary Street. There is also limited garage parking available for a fee in the Shockoe Slip parking deck accessible from the east side of 12th Street between East Cary Street and Canal Street.
