| Purpose of the meeting The Department of Environmental Quality will convene a public hearing on a draft permit modification for the Ashcake Road CDD Landfill in in Hanover County. Ashcake Road Landfill Inc. has applied for a modification to a permit that allows the Ashcake Road CDD Landfill to operate an existing landfill in Hanover County, Virginia. This modification to the permit would allow the landfill to increase the vertical height of the landfill, raising the closure ridgeline elevation from the approved elevation of 253-feet to 290-feet above mean sea level. The public comment period runs from April 13, 2018 to May 14, 2018. | |
