| Purpose of the meeting The Board will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services. Additionally, staff will request the Board’s approval of the following regulatory actions: • Final exempt action to adopt 2 VAC 5-585, Retail Food Establishment Regulations • Proposed exempt action to adopt 2 VAC 5-319, Best Management Practices for the Operation of Apiaries in Order to Limit Operator Liability • Revisions to the final stage for 2 VAC 5-685, Regulations Governing Pesticide Applicator Certification Under Authority of Virginia Pesticide Control Act. Staff will also ask the Board to reappoint two current members to the Board of Directors of the Virginia Winery Distribution Company. The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodations in order to participate at the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice at least five days before the meeting date so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | |||||
