| Purpose of the meeting A public hearing to receive comments on a draft permit modification for the 623 Landfill, Inc. to modify their permit to allow for an expansion of a new waste cell 10; the realignment of the waste cell division boundary lines; the revision of base grades to minimize fill to accommodate the revised cell division; and, to incorporate into the permit the subdivision of the property line. DEQ accepts comments by e-mail, fax or postal mail. All comments must include the name, address and telephone number of the person commenting and be received by DEQ within the comment period. DEQ also accepts written and oral comments at public hearings. The public may review the draft permit and application at the DEQ office named below. Copies of the permit documents are also available at County of Goochland, Administration Building, Department of Solid Waste, at 1800 Sandy Hook Road, Goochland, VA 23063. The public comment period begins on June 28, 2014 and ends on August 15, 2014. | |
