| Purpose of the meeting Regular business meeting of the Board of Housing and Community Development. Also the Board is scheduled to review and evaluate comment received during the NOIRA phase and consider adoption of proposed regulations to amend the following regulations:Virginia Certification Standards (13 VAC 5-21),Virginia Amusement Device Regulations (13 VAC 5-31),Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code (13 VAC 5-51),Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (13 VAC 5-61),Standards Governing Operation of Individual and Regional Code Academies/1990 (13 VAC 5-80), andVirginia Industrialized Building Safety Regulations (13 VAC 5-91); by adopting and incorporating by reference the following, the International Code Council’s 2000 model codes (International Building Code, International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings, International Property Maintenance Code and Fire Code) and the American Society for Testing and Materials updated standards for the regulation of amusement devices and to also put before the public proposed changes submitted to the Board. | |
