| Purpose of the meeting A meeting open to the public to discuss general business matters requiring Board action. However, portions of the meeting may be held in closed session, pursuant to §2.2-3711 of the Code of Virginia. In conjunction with this meeting, the Board will hold a public hearing at 10:15 a.m. pursuant to § 2.2-4007.01(B) of the Code of Virginia to receive comments on 11 VAC 15-40, Charitable Gaming Regulations. These proposed regulations seek to consolidate the two current charitable gaming regulations and establish guidelines for electronic pull-tabs. The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodation in order to participate at the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice at least five days before the meeting date, so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | |||
