| Purpose of the meeting The Annual Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Virginia Housing Development Authority will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 6, 2008 in Board Room, Fourth Floor, of its offices located at 601 South Belvidere Street, Richmond, Virginia. The Board of Commissioners will elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman; will review and, if appropriate, approve the minutes from the prior meeting; may consider for approval and ratification mortgage loan commitments under its various programs; will review the Authority’s operations for the prior months; and will consider such other matters and take such other actions as they may deem appropriate. The following meetings of the committees of the Board of Commissioners will be held at such address: Committee of the Whole- August 5, 2008, 2:00 p.m., Conference Room 1, Lobby Level; Executive Committee- August 5, 2008, 6:00 p.m., Cafeteria Annex, Ground Floor; Programs Committee- August 6, 2008, 8:30 a.m., Board Room, Fourth Floor; Audit Committee- August 6, 2008, 8:30 a.m., Room 472, Fourth Floor; and Operations Committee- August 6, 2008, 9:30 a.m., Room 472, Fourth Floor. The Committees and the Board may also meet during meals after the meetings on August 5 and 6, 2008. Public comment is to be received at the beginning of the meeting of the Board of Commissioners scheduled to commence on August 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. The Annual Meeting of the shareholder and the Board of Directors of Housing for Virginia, Inc., a corporation wholly owned by the Authority, will be held on August 6, 2008 in Room 472, at the address set forth above, following the meeting of the Board of Commissioners. | |
