Amend regulations to require protocols for clergy visits
Purpose of legislation
Requires the State Board of Health and the State Board of Social Services to promulgate regulations requiring every licensed hospital, licensed nursing home, certified nursing facility, licensed hospice, and licensed assisted living facility establish a protocol to permit patients and residents to receive visits from the clergy of any religious denomination or sect during a declared public health emergency related to a communicable disease of public health threat.
