||The DBVI Orientation and Mobility Procedure Manual exists to provide agency employees, individuals who are blind, vision impaired, or deafblind who are eligible or potentially eligible, and external stakeholders with clear and concise guidance pertaining to agency internal policies, procedures, and business practices concerning orientation and mobility services. Policies are developed in compliance with relevant state and federal statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures.

||Orientation and Mobility services do not have stand alone regulations. Services are incorporated into services provision for blind, vision impaired, or deafblind services to individuals receiving vocational rehabilitation, rehabilitation teaching and independent living, or other services as needed by the individual.
