||Electronic Signature Policy, IPE Signature Requirements, and Actual Services Documentation of Units of Service
||This policy directive is regarding Electronic Signature Procedures. Vocational Rehabilitation staff may use the agency approved electronic processes for the purpose of acquiring the individuals signature on documents where policy requires a signature from the individual.
DBVI and the individual must both agree to utilize an electronic signature procedure for each and every document requiring the individual’s signature. Regarding Actual Services - Units of Services, VR counselor must enter the total number of units of service prior to completing the Actual Service at the end of the quarter.

||The use of the electronic signature process is intended to ensure VR services are efficiently implemented and maintained when issues of time, travel, geographic location, or other reasons challenge the timely acquisition of a traditional “wet” signature, either in person or through the mail. Actual Services provided directly by the VR counselor as well as services provided by other DBVI providers
