At the June 1999 meeting, the Virginia Board of Education reviewed the regulations of the Board and determined those regulations that could be waived for charter schools without violating federal or state law or
endangering the safety of students. The following regulations will be waived for charter schools by the Board of Education if a request is made to the Department of Education from the division superintendent on behalf of the local school board. |
