This Directive re-establishes a specific Local Emphasis Program for the Logging (pulpwood and timber) and sawmill Industries with policies and procedures for the purpose of conducting inspections of logging industry activities and sawmills within VOSH’s jurisdiction.
The intent is to achieve a reduction in the severity and number of injuries and fatalities of the loggers, sawyers and other hardwood and flooring mill employees occurring in these occupations. |
