Reason for Extension:
DMAS is requesting this emergency regulation be extended until September 20, 2020 for the following reason: This extension is required in order to continue enforcing the legislative mandate, as set out in the 2018 Appropriation Act, Chapter 2, Items 3-5.15 and 5.16 to levy a provider
coverage assessment and a provider payment rate assessment related to fund Medicaid expansion.
This emergency extension request was approved by the Governor's office on 2/19/2020.
