Stage:
On 5/27/2016 the board requested that this
emergency stage be extended until 12/29/2016.
Reason for Extension:
This emergency regulation is due to expire June 30, 2016. This extension is required in order for DMAS to continue to improve access to health care for a segment of the uninsured population in Virginia who have significant behavioral and medical needs; to improve health and behavioral health outcomes of participants in this program; and, to serve as a bridge to closing the insurance coverage gap for uninsured Virginians. This package is essential to enable these individuals to continue to access behavioral and primary primary health services.
This emergency extension request was approved by the Governor's office on 6/17/2016.
