I paddle, fish & birdwatch on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. I am concerned regarding poultry waste use and disposal. I have noticed a decline in water quality and a big increase in blue green algae blooms and of course the fish kills. I fully support the proposed regulation requiring all significant poultry waste end users and poultry brokers to test theeir soil before they apply waste as fertilizer.
