1) Your Name-
C. Blake Condo
2) Your Full Address-
2517 Overbrook Cir., Cleveland, TN 37312
3) How you are connected to rivers affected by poultry in Virginia-
As a former VA resident and now a TN resident that frequently comes to Virginia to fish and paddle on the Shenandoah River (ie 4-8 days of use per year). If the fish kills continue I will recreate elsewhere (Arkansas or Missouri).
4) What you think about the pending regulation-
I think it is a critical action that is long overdue and is highly necessary to protect the human environment (ie, pollution to drinking water). Additionally, the pending regulation will help promote sound waste management practices that should have been followed for years. Further more, the problems from over-nutrification (chiefly phosphorus) of the river would be greatly reduced. This reduction will be helpful to meeting the goals of cleaning up the Chesapeake Bay.
In my opinion the pending regulations would enhance the water quality for drinking water supply, provide a non-lethal environment for water contact (such as swimming and canoe), reduce/remove the annual fish kills thereby enhancing the current fragile fishery, help the state meet its goals for cleaning the bay and promote sound agriculture/waste science while holding accountable those that potentially can be detrimental to the ecological health of the Shenandoah watershed.
