Strongly Opposed

I am a small business owner in the Richmond area.  I have seen first hand how government regulation compliance costs businesses and ultimately consumers a great deal of money and freedom.  While most regulations are well intentioned, the potential exists, without any due process, to literally regulate any company out of business or regulate any individual into bankruptcy.

We, as a community, agreed to abide by "safety guidelines" earlier this year in order to "flatten the curve" and reduce the strain on health care providers dealing with COVID19.  We complied at GREAT personal cost.  Now we are being told that the arbitrary safety guidelines, which seem to change at the whim of unnamed "experts" are to be made permanent?!  I say that if these rules are to be made permanent, let it be done through the General Assembly and Governor by way of a new State law.  Let it be done by those who are accountable to the voting public; not nameless bureaucrats with no accountablity!
