Certified interior designers are ESSENTIAL

Certified interior designers are ESSENTIAL to ensure the health, safety and welfare in both public and private spaces. Certified interior designers are trained professionals who provide code-compliant egress plans that save the lives of people during fires and catastrophic events. They ensure accessible design is provided in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and design spaces that will protect people and companies because they are safe to use and navigate. Certified interior designers also recognize the importance and value of using renewable materials and considering the impacts of the built environment on its users and the world as a whole. They work closely with architects, structural, electrical & mechanical engineers, fire marshals, the Department of Health, government agencies and many other agencies to ensure the safety of the public. There is no other profession that provides all these services with the sole focus of protecting the health, safety and welfare of the public.
