If you simply sit and watch the vast majority of people wearing masks you will see constant touching, tugging, and readjusting; taking them off once leaving the building and then putting them back on at the next stop. Did they use hand sanitizer EVERY SINGLE TIME before and after touching the mask? If not then the idea that anyone is being protected is ludicrous. To protect yourself you need to use hand sanitizer before touching the mask or your face. To protect others you need to use hand sanitizer after touching the mask or your face.
