I am writing today to voice my support for providing guidance to employers regarding face coverings and the continued mandate for everyone to wear masks in public and office settings. The CDCs guidance indicates that wearing masks, even those made of cloth, can help slow the spread of SARS-coV-2 and help prevent asymptomatic individuals infected with the virus from unknowingly infecting others. Please continue to protect Virginians by requiring masks and providing guidance to employers and employees for best practices, with enforcement.  Even with cases slowing in the Commonwealth, Manassas remains ones of the highest concentrations of cases.  People are not taking the mask rules seriously and they need to be better enforced to protect all Virginians.
