Protect the workers and the public at large

In the Commonwealth's rush to reopen because business incomes were more important than flattening the covid curve as much as possible, we live in a time where people are more obsessed with their own convenience than they are the safety of their fellow Virginian. As someone with a high risk rate of potentially fatal complications if I'm infected going out doing necessary things in public, the fact we have to have a debate over everyone doing what they can to protect each other is ridiculous.

If there's a 50% chance that masks don't help, we should not be so eager to throw away the 50% chance that they do help and protect not only the health of our fellow citizens, but the finances of our fellow citizens considering what care costs are.

If the options are wearing a mask for a few minutes while in public, or killing someone's grandma who had to go to the grocery store where people felt it was their right to refuse to wear a mask;

We shouldn't be arguing for the right to kill someone's grandma. Please adopt this regulation and protect not only our workers and the clients they serve, but protect those who would be indirectly exposed by a lack of protection in the workplace.
