My husband can not wear a mask for medical reasons. He needed to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy but they wouldn't serve him because he didn't have a mask on. They offered to bring the medication outside to him, but when they found out the medication was a controlled substance they wouldn't give it to him because they couldn't accept his ID outside, but they wouldn't let him back inside to show it to them. He was unable to get his medication. Governor Northam, have you thought about the actual consequences of mandating masks? Have you considered people, like my husband, are unable to get necessary medications from their local pharmacy because of an unconstitutional rule you put in place? I don't blame the pharmacy as they are a business stuck in a no win situation. I blame Governor Northam and the General Assembly for allowing this horrible mandate be put in place.
